Winter Brothers: A Season at the Edge of America (signed uncorrected proof, his own copy)
NY: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1980. First edition. Hardcover. The uncorrected proof in wraps, signed by Doig on the title page. Though there's no indication in the volume, this is one of Doig's own copies. His second book. "The author of This House of Sky provides a magnificent evocation of the Pacific Northwest through the diaries of James Gilchrist Swan, a settler of the region. Doig fuses parts of the Swan diaries with his own journal." A tall octavo in royal blue wraps; very good with mild sunning to spine, otherwise fine. Very good. Item #2256
