His classic work, uncommon signed. The first volume in the Sierra Club Nature and Natural Philosophy Library. With a foreword by Brian Swimme. In these essays "Berry defines a restorative, creative relationship with the natural world" and "establishes the philosophical ground for a bioregional mode of reinhabiting the earth." Environmental writer Richard Louv argues that “Thomas Berry was the earliest and most important voice to describe the profound importance of the disconnection between humans and the natural world, and what that could mean for the future of our species." Very good with slight bumping to spine ends and a few corners and with light pencil underlining and marginal annotations in some of the essays. In a very good minus jacket with fraying and slight loss to spine ends and corners and some minor creasing and short tears to edges.
