Over the last decade or so he's turned his focus to the fight against climate change. His many honors include a Bioneers Award, a National Conservation Achievement Award by the National Wildlife Federation, and a Lyndhurst Prize "to recognize the educational, cultural, and charitable activities of particular individuals of exceptional talent, character, and moral vision."
