Signed by both authors. Thomas has signed his name, date (1979) and place ("La Grande, Oregon") at the top of the page. The book describes 160 species of Northeast plants that birds love, each with a checklist of species that use it. With 75 line drawings by Abigail Rorer. DeGraaf was a research wildlife biologist for the Forest Service. Very near fine in black cloth with a hint of sunning/soiling to edges. With "Thomas" written boldly on each face of the text block, as was JW Thomas's custom. In a very good jacket with sunning to spine and some short tears and creasing at top of spine. Also a stripe
