Phil Caputo." Caputo and Harrison were friends and the inscription surely references some of Harrison's hunting and culinary spoils. Caputo won a Pulitzer Prize for reporting and is best known for his nonfiction book A Rumor of War about Vietnam. Exiles is three novellas set in Connecticut (Caputo's home), Vietnam, and Australia.
